A gateway to your dream

What's the process?

According to your academic year, you have the option to choose between enrolling in a one-year or two-year OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) program. After completing the program, you can decide whether to continue your studies abroad or apply to local universities through non-JUPAS (Joint University Programmes Admissions System) channels.
• The local Form 5 Diploma program allows direct entry into Grade 11 to pursue a two-year OSSD program. Upon completing 7 course credits and achieving a passing grade in the Ontario English Proficiency Test, students can obtain the OSSD certificate.
• The local Form 6 Diploma program allows direct entry into Grade 12 to pursue a one-year OSSD program. Upon completing 4 credits and achieving a passing grade in the Ontario English Proficiency Test, students can obtain the OSSD certificate.

The process of applying to universities in Ontario,

1. By enrolling in Futura, you will automatically become a registered student in Canada.
2. Around October of your Grade 12 year, you can apply to your preferred universities through the Ontario Central Application System (OCAS). The allocation of enrollment slots is typically 70% for local students through OUAC-101 and 30% for international students through OUAC-105. Futura provides comprehensive support throughout the entire application process, including registration, subject selection strategies, and guidance.
3. After the January deadline, you can expect to receive offers from universities at different times between January and June.
